Challenge<\/h6>\n

WP Systems is one of the most innovative manufacturers of rotor blade access systems on the market. The systems are subject to the highest mechanical loads and still have to be light and safe. <\/span><\/p>\n

The task here was to design a highly stressed structural interface between bolted aluminum profiles in accordance with approval standards.<\/span><\/p>\n

Method<\/h6>\n

Static simulations of the complex assembly area with numerous bolted joints. Special focus on the material model for realistic representation of settlement effects and structural plasticity in ultimate loadcases.<\/span><\/p>\n

Result<\/h6>\n

Due to the advanced simulation approach, WP Systems was able to push the limits and increase the performance of the product. This made it possible to gain a competitive advantage.<\/span><\/p>\n
